THOWAX Special Waxes

Specialized waxes blended for each individual field of application. These waxes are available in 70 g tins and some of them also as wax chip

CERVICAL WAX, red

• smooth-flowing wax
• tension free for precise margins
• adapts perfectly to the margin line

CONSEQUENT block-out wax

• does not remove from metal
• good visibility even when only a thin coat is applied
• good carving (with or without thermo-stick)
• does not react with monomer liquids and standard silicone
• colour: orange - is not absorbed by the plaster
• package size: 45 g tins

CONSEQUENT Universal wax

CONSEQUENT universal wax is especially used within the casting technique but also suitable for the waxing-up. By using various colours good contrasts can be achieved in order to avoid too thin wax transitions.

• melting point: 60° C
• suitable for crowns and bridges

compared to Thowax or IQ-wax, the new CONSEQUENT quality

• is cooling down slower
• is softer and therefore ideal to transfer the occlusal wax form from the master model to the duplicate

CUTEX Block-Out Wax
not suitable for casting technique does not burn without residue.

CUTEX serves to block-out undercuts or to smooth rough surfaces on dies. It is extremely hard and adapts easily to the contour of the die.

The higher melting point of CUTEX avoids bonding to the other YETI dipping waxes, underlining wax or cervical waxes. Use CUTEX after application of the die spacers. Easy to remove from the die at the end in order to hand over the unspoilt die to the dentist.

not suitable for the casting, does not burn without residues

• helpful for any repair of broken dentures or to solder metal parts
• very hard when cooled down and therefore immediately indicates any undesired slipping of the parts to be connected

UNDERLINING WAX, bordeaux
As first layer of waxing-ups for inlays, cowns, secondary parts and sculpturing within the cervical area.

• high density enables the carving of sharp crown edges
• stable in form and exact fitting
• opaque for a better contrast to the die

VKS - Wax for full ceramic systems (e.g. Empress)

VKS waxes are of THOWAX quality for full ceramic systems. They are filtered several times and are free from any opaque particles, which could possibly react with the embedding material or casted objects. The excellent sculpturing features are not affected.
